Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: September 2, 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to services provided by Rob Massimi Goaltending & Performance through Mind in the Crease. By scheduling, purchasing, or participating in a service, the participant or, when applicable, the participant’s parent or legal guardian acknowledges and agrees to these terms.

Services & Development
Mind in the Crease provides individualized ice hockey goaltender development, including on-ice instruction, hockey IQ and decision-making development, interactive video learning, mental performance development, parent consultation, and individualized development planning.

Mental performance services are educational and sport-development services. They are not psychotherapy, clinical counseling, psychological diagnosis, psychiatric care, medical treatment, or another healthcare service, and participation does not establish a therapist-client relationship.

Athlete development varies from person to person. No particular performance result, roster position, playing time, advancement opportunity, scholarship, or competitive outcome is guaranteed.

Scheduling & Payment
Services are scheduled by agreement and based on availability.

On-ice sessions depend on available rink and ice time. Submission of an inquiry does not guarantee a specific rink, date, or time.

On-ice payment is generally requested after the session details and ice availability have been confirmed. Virtual services are generally paid after scheduling and before the appointment.

Payment secures the agreed-upon service subject to the policies below.

Cancellations, Rescheduling & Late Arrivals
On-ice sessions may be canceled or rescheduled without penalty with at least 24 hours’ notice.

Changes made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a $35 late-cancellation fee because ice time may already have been reserved. When appropriate, the remaining payment may be credited toward a rescheduled session.

Genuine illness, family emergencies, severe weather, and other significant unexpected circumstances may be considered on a case-by-case basis, and the late-cancellation fee may be waived when reasonable.

An on-ice no-show without notice or communication may result in forfeiture of the full session payment.

Virtual appointments may be canceled or rescheduled without penalty with at least two hours’ notice.

When a participant communicates a change less than two hours before the appointment, one courtesy reschedule will normally be provided. Repeated late cancellations may be charged or may require a new payment at the discretion of Rob Massimi Goaltending & Performance.

A virtual no-show without notice or communication may result in forfeiture of the full session fee.

Participants arriving late may use the remaining scheduled time, but sessions generally end at the originally scheduled conclusion time.

If Rob Massimi Goaltending & Performance or the rink must cancel a session, the participant will be offered an appropriate reschedule, credit, or refund.

Semi-Private Sessions, Packages & Refunds
Semi-private sessions are limited to a maximum of two goaltenders.

If one goaltender cancels, the remaining goaltender will stay at the agreed semi-private rate and will not be charged the private-session rate because of the other participant’s cancellation.

When appropriate, Rob Massimi Goaltending & Performance may attempt to fill the open position, proceed with the remaining goaltender, reschedule, or coordinate another reasonable option.

Development packages combine services at a bundled price.

If a customer chooses not to complete a package after one or more services have already been provided, any eligible refund or credit will generally be calculated by subtracting the standalone value of the completed services from the amount originally paid.

The full package discount is realized when the package is completed as intended.

Services already fully delivered and sessions forfeited under the applicable no-show policy are generally nonrefundable.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit rights that cannot legally be waived.

Participation, Safety & Parent Authorization
Ice hockey and goaltender training involve inherent physical risks, including falls, collisions, physical exertion, pucks, sticks, skate blades, equipment-related risks, and interaction with other athletes or rink users.

Participants are responsible for wearing appropriate hockey and goaltending equipment, following rink rules and reasonable safety instructions, and determining that they are physically able to participate.

Rob Massimi Goaltending & Performance does not provide medical clearance or medical advice.

When services involve a minor, appropriate parent or legal guardian authorization may be required before participation.

Additional consent or acknowledgment may be collected privately as part of the client onboarding process. These Terms do not replace any separate consent or acknowledgment provided by the participant, parent, or legal guardian.

Conduct, Athlete Media, Materials & Third Parties
Athletes, parents, guardians, and visitors are expected to interact respectfully with coaches, rink personnel, other athletes, and other participants.

Services may be declined or discontinued when behavior creates a safety concern, involves harassment or threats, significantly disrupts training, or otherwise makes continued participation inappropriate.

Athlete video voluntarily submitted for review may be used to provide the requested service.

An athlete’s identifiable name, image, video, testimonial, or likeness will not be used for unrelated public promotional purposes without appropriate permission.

Original Rob Massimi Goaltending & Performance / Mind in the Crease training materials, written resources, graphics, presentations, development frameworks, and website content may not be commercially reproduced, sold, published, or distributed without permission, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

Sessions or services may involve independently operated ice rinks and third-party payment, communication, video, website, or technology providers. Rob Massimi Goaltending & Performance does not control their independent policies, availability, or operations.

These Terms & Conditions may be updated as services, policies, or business practices change. The effective date shown above identifies the current version.
